Ask North Carolina about extreme. Now, there's a school that really knows how to go about getting what it wants. The Tar Heels didn't just jump the gun on hiring new coach Butch Davis -- they left weeks early to beat the traffic. UNC athletic director Dick Baddour saw Davis as the ideal man to revive his sagging football program. And with a bevy of potential BCS coaching changes on the horizon, Baddour knew the competition for Davis would be fierce.
