His life brought cheer to others


Jason Kendall Ray wanted to leave his mark on the world. He wanted to share his faith. And he wanted to help people. Those who knew Ray, a senior at UNC who performed as the school's mascot Rameses, say that he would have been pleased by the events that followed his death. In his short life, he accomplished the things he wanted, his father told about 200 people at a campus memorial service. He would have enjoyed the service, too. (Raleigh News & Observer)
