North Carolina’s defensive success against No. 5 Notre Dame on Saturday will be determined by its ability to limit quarterback Everett Golson's effectiveness with the ball in his hand. Golson, the Myrtle Beach, S.C. talent who committed to UNC prior to signing with the Irish in 2011, has inserted himself in the Heisman Trophy conversation after leading Notre Dame to a 5-0 start.
