P.J. Hairston signs with Charlotte Hornets

P.J. Hairston has signed a contract with the Charlotte Hornets, the team announced Friday. Terms of the deal were not released. The Hornets drafted Hairston with the 26th pick overall in the 2014 NBA Draft, and he became the first D-League player ever to be taken in the first round. In his sophomore season at UNC, he led the Tar Heels in scoring with a 14.6 points per game average.
