Sophomore right-hander Adam Warren tossed a career-best seven innings of shutout ball as North Carolina (34-9) snapped East Carolina's seven-game winning streak Tuesday 10-0 at Boshamer Stadium. The Tar Heels outhit the Pirates (28-13) by a 12-3 margin to claim their sixth straight win in the series and their second double-digit victory in the past three meetings. ECU has not won in Chapel Hill since 1994.
