Close call leads to Tar Heels' onslaught win

Chad Flack had plenty of company in the hit department Tuesday night, with the Tar Heels pounding out 12 hits and eight of UNC's nine starters getting at least one hit. East Carolina (28-13) had no such success against UNC sophomore right-hander Adam Warren (8-0), who allowed three hits and two walks while striking out five in a career-high seven innings.
