Seventh Woods sidelined by wrist injury
Posted Jul 1, 2014
After playing through the spring with a broken wrist, national five-star point guard Seventh Woods will sit out much of the summer AAU season to heal. According to Major Williamson, coach of the Carolina Wolves AAU team, Woods will be out for six weeks. The 6-foot, 175-pound guard broke his wrist in April, “but he was playing well despite that,” Williamson said. Woods, a rising junior at Hammond and a top prospect in the 2016 recruiting class, was averaging 14.6 points and 3.2 rebounds for the Wolves despite his injury.
