Trase Jones' hard work pays off as he signs to kick for Butch Davis at North Carolina

Roanoke Rapids quarterback and kicker Trase Jones signed a letter of intent to play for Butch Davis and the UNC Tar Heels Friday afternoon. Jones received full scholarship offers from smaller schools but, in an effort to fulfill his lifelong dream of playing D-1 football in the ACC, he recently narrowed his recruiting offers down to those from N.C. State and UNC-Chapel Hill.
