Heels look to seniors, freshman for postseason boost
Posted May 14, 2007
The UNC baseball team has arrived at the most exciting and most important part of the season. Exams are done, and it's all baseball now. A year ago, Carolina won the Coastal Division of the ACC during the regular season, but then lost quickly and embarrassingly once in the conference tournament. The Tar Heels remedied that by making a stirring run in the NCAA Tournament, and eventually coming within a half a game of capturing the national championship at the College World Series in Omaha, Neb.
