UNC commit Cameron Varga throws fifth no-hitter

Thursday, June 05, 2014

Not even the excitement of potentially hearing his name called in the MLB draft could knock Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy senior pitcher Cameron Varga off his game in the Ohio High School Athletic Association's Division III State Semifinals at Huntington Park in Columbus on Thursday afternoon. Varga struck out 15 hitters and kept his 0.00 ERA in tact on his way to his fifth no-hitter of the season, while lifting the Eagles to the Division III State Finals with a 3-0 win over Orville.
