Tar Heels look more like underdogs, but confidence stays intact for NCAA baseball tourney

With the NCAA Tournament beginning today at 16 sites around the country, it’s strange to put North Carolina in the category of underdog. The Tar Heels hope to turn that around, realizing that as one of the last teams selected for the field of 64 that it could be a steep climb, beginning this afternoon against Long Beach State at Gainesville, Fla. There’s another way to look at it for the Tar Heels.
