UNC concussion researcher to participate in White House summit

Kevin Guskiewicz, a lead concussion researcher at UNC, will participate in a special White House summit Thursday that will focus on finding new ways to identify, treat and prevent concussions, especially in youth sports. Guskiewicz is an expert on sport-related concussions. He is a MacArthur “Genius” Fellow and serves as an adviser on the NFL’s Head, Neck and Spine Committee and the NCAA’s Concussion Committee.
