Spotlight on Ty Lawson: Denver's best player needs to get better

There was a lot to like about Ty Lawson's 2013-14 season. He had career-high averages in points (17.6) and assists (8.8) and made nearly 80 percent of his free-throw attempts. His value to the Nuggets as their best player, as the athlete who kept the team's offense humming, was never as clear as it was this season. Yet his season wasn't that simple.
