Dre Bly donates to Jason Ray Foundation


Jason Kendall Ray, 21, the Rays' youngest son, was the Tar Heels mascot who died March 26 after being struck by a vehicle in New Jersey while in town to cheer at the NCAA Tournament. The Rays had come to the Pope Box at Kenan to meet with , the former UNC football star. Bly presented the Rays with a check for $2,500 for the memorial fund in Jason Ray's name. Jason Ray's mother, Charlotte, hugged Bly as they received the check and thanked him. (Raleigh News & Observer)
