Casey Carrick fills in the navy blue outlines of C-A-R-O-L-I-N-A with a fine mist of Carolina blue lettering. It’s April 11, and he’s standing in the end zone of the field at Kenan Stadium as the early morning light filters in. There’s only a day until the annual Spring Game, a day that’s just as much a dress rehearsal for the football team as it is for Carrick and the grounds crew.
