Women's Golfers Finish 21st At NCAA Championship

The UNC women's golf team fired a 319 in the final round of the NCAA Championship for a 1248 total to finish in 21st place at LPGA International's Legends Course. Duke topped the field of 24 teams with an 1170 total for the Blue Devils' third consecutive national championship. "We're disappointed," said Tar Heel head coach Sally Austin. "We're a better team than we showed. We should have played better, but just didn't make shots we're capable of making." (Tar Heel Blue)
