Justin Jackson is first home-schooler to play in McDonald's All-American Game

Justin Jackson, who is from Tomball, Texas, outside of Houston, is the first home-schooler selected to play in the McDonald's boys game. "It's a blessing to be the first one," said Jackson, who will play for the East team in Wednesday's game at the United Center. "It's opened a lot of opportunities for those coming up." He attends co-op classes twice a week at a church with other home-schooled kids and has been home-schooled all four years of high school and two years of middle school. (Chicago Tribune)
