Tar Heels get an extra day to heal

Mike Fox cherished UNC’s come-from-behind victory that kept his team positioned for another deep postseason run. He just wishes that two of his players wouldn’t have injured themselves celebrating it. A day after the Tar Heels rallied for three runs in the ninth inning of their 11-10 win against East Carolina, Fox said that the players hurt during the postgame party should be OK for today’s championship-round game in the Chapel Hill Regional.
