Tar Heels happy to be playing at home

North Carolina will begin the final series ever played at Boshamer Stadium as it exists today, with a trip to the College World Series at stake. North Carolina will welcome South Carolina for the NCAA Tournament’s Chapel Hill Super Regional. The teams will play a best-of-3 series beginning at 7 p.m. with the survivor advancing to Omaha, Neb., for a shot at the national championship.
