Two-out rally: UNC stuns South Carolina by coming back from six down
Posted Jun 9, 2007
A 6-0 deficit in the sixth inning would qualify as a tough spot for most teams. For North Carolina, it's a comfort zone. The Tar Heels rallied in dramatic fashion for the third consecutive game Friday night, defeating South Carolina 9-6 in Game 1 of the NCAA baseball tournament's super regionals at Boshamer Stadium. UNC scored three runs in the sixth and six more in the seventh -- all with two outs.
