Rain postpones Saturday night Game 2; South Carolina striking back

North Carolina's baseball team didn't clinch its second consecutive berth in the College World Series on Saturday. But the Tar Heels might have been able to get a comfortable night's sleep, knowing that they were in a familiar position. South Carolina led No. 3 seed UNC 8-5 after 6½ innings Saturday night before inclement weather forced the suspension of Game 2 of the NCAA super regionals until today.
