Catcher Matt Roberts no longer with Tar Heels baseball team

Matt Roberts won’t be playing his senior season with North Carolina’s baseball team. Roberts, a catcher who was a starter for most of last season until a postseason injury, isn’t on the roster as the season begins this week. UNC coach Mike Fox said Roberts won’t be rejoining the team. Roberts had gone through fall practices, and Fox said he couldn’t comment beyond that. (Burlington Times News)
