Owls Use Balance to Beat Heels

Backed by an impressive pitching performance from two-way star Joe Savery and a huge night offensively, the Owls cruised past North Carolina 14-4 to improve to 2-0 in Omaha. The red-hot Owls scored 14 runs on 14 hits against Tar Heel pitching, forcing UNC coach to use a CWS record eight pitchers in the game. Even more impressive, each of the Owls' nine starters recorded a run, hit and an RBI on the way to another win. (Rivals.com)
