Lawson's Nuggets beat Marshall's Lakers in battle of former UNC point guards

The Denver Nuggets defeated the Los Angeles Lakers 137-115 Sunday night in a battle of former UNC point guards. Kendall Marshall, starting in his second game for the Lakers, finished with 9 points, 17 assists, and 6 rebounds. Ty Lawson's numbers were equally impressive for the Nuggets with 20 points, 12 assists, and 4 rebounds. Both played team-high minutes: Marshall with 39 and Lawson with 41. (Box Score)
