People in the know put the 1957 ACC Male Athlete of the Year up there with the best college basketball players of all time. And yet his talents on the court didn’t translate into the fame and fortune that came to future Tar Heel stars for whom Lennie paved the way. But Lennie never stopped being a celebrity in Chapel Hill.
