UNC pulls away late, holds on for 82-72 victory against Richmond

North Carolina found itself in a similar situation on Saturday as it did against Belmont last weekend – leading late in a game that it had once trailed, trying to hold on with an opponent still within striking distance. This time, though, the Tar Heels hung on. UNC’s 82-72 victory against Richmond was far from artful, but it provided the kind of response Williams had been hoping for. (Raleigh News & Observer)
