Roy Williams offers Stephen Zimmerman


One day after receiving a visit from , received a scholarship offer from UNC's Hall of Fame coach Thursday night, and Zimmerman tweeted the news to his followers shortly afterwards:

Zimmerman (6'11", 220) is a consensus 5-star center from Bishop Gorman High School in Las Vegas, Nevada, and is rated the #1 center in the 2015 class and the #2-ranked recruit overall by most recruiting services.

He becomes the 6th member of UNC's 2015 basketball recruiting class to receive an offer from Williams, joining fellow center , point guard , small forward , and shooting guards and .

Zimmerman also has scholarship offers and is receiving heavy interest from Arizona, Kentucky, and Kansas, among several others.
