Confidence a fragrance for UNC's Joel James

Joel James, the 6-foot-10, 280-pound sophomore has declared that he'll be UNC's starting center this season, and that's a positive sign for the Tar Heels. A lack of self-belief contributed to James' struggles as a college newcomer. "You ever heard the saying that confidence is like deodorant?" the gregarious James asked reporters this summer. "If you don't have it on, you stink."
