Robert Johnson Commits to Indiana
Posted Sep 20, 2013
Robert Johnson, a 4-star shooting guard from Richmond, Virginia (Benedictine HS), has committed to Indiana. Johnson chose the Hoosiers over his other 3 finalists: North Carolina, Virginia, and Florida State.
Johnson's commitment to Indiana leaves Roy Williams still searching for the elusive shooting guard to complete UNC's 2014 basketball recruiting class that already contains point guard Joel Berry and forwards Justin Jackson and Theo Pinson.
UNC's next chance to land a commitment will come next weekend as 5-star shooting guard Rashad Vaughn is scheduled to visit Chapel Hill. Vaughn once considered committing to North Carolina but decided to delay his decision after consulting with his parents.
Once Vaughn's UNC visit is complete, he has official visits scheduled to Baylor October 18th and to Iowa State on November 17th. Vaughn has not yet set an annoucement date.
