Larry Fedora makes grand helicopter entrance on local recruiting stop

Lincolnton coach Scott Cloninger felt like he must have talked to everyone from UNC except the chancellor to work out the details for Larry Fedora’s grand entrance to Friday’s game. After all the phone calls and a fairly well-kept secret, the UNC football coach arrived at Lincolnton via helicopter for Friday’s game against East Gaston. Earlier in the evening, Fedora landed at South Point High School on a big night of in-state recruiting visits. (Gaston Gazette)
