Making the Bye Week Count

Much has been made of Georgia Tech’s poor record when opponents have more than a week to prepare. North Carolina, however, is 1-2 against Paul Johnson’s squad following a bye week, including last season’s 68-50 record-setting shootout. To be fair, UNC utilized its bye week last November to rest up its starters and give backups more reps. (Inside Carolina)
