UNC defense is better but not good enough yet

Sunday, September 08, 2013

Larry Fedora expressed his pleasure at the improvement shown by North Carolina's defense Saturday after the Tar Heels defeated Middle Tennessee, 40-20, in their 2013 home opener. "I thought the defense, especially in the first half, played really well,'' Fedora said. "I think our guys did a nice job of hitting. I thought they did a nice job of wrapping up. We did a much better job of tackling today." (Fayetteville Observer)
