6. North Carolina: It’s tough to penalize the Tar Heels for losing a game most didn’t give them a chance to win. South Carolina’s advantage in the trenches was simply too much for North Carolina, while the defense remains a work in progress. With Georgia Tech coming up on Sept. 21, addressing the defense is a top priority for coach Larry Fedora. Next Week: MTSU.
