Say what you will about the Tar Heels' shortcomings and blunders Thursday night amidst a muggy and clammy cauldron in Columbia--the secondary beatings, the missed tackles, a grievous fumbled punt, the red-zone whiffs. There's something to be said in the big picture for having a coach who's engaged and scrapping and clawing and has his players' backs until the bitter end.
