Keeping it simple isn't stupid

Gauging how successful the 2007 North Carolina football team will be is tricky business, given the relative youth of this group. The one thing anyone should be able to say is the defensive front will be better. There appears to be more talent and depth along the defensive line than there has been since Julius Peppers and Ryan Sims were the gems of the bunch in 2001. "I know I'm not going to be in there for 12 [straight plays]," senior defensive tackle Kentwan Balmer said. (Chapel Hill News)
