Tar Heels Kick Off 2013 With No. 6 Gamecocks


North Carolina and South Carolina open the 2013 college football season on Thursday, Aug. 29, in Columbia at 6 p.m. The game will be televised on ESPN. This is the first meeting between the neighboring state schools since 2007 and it is UNC's first trip to Columbia since 1990. South Carolina enters the game ranked sixth in the country in the Associated Press Top 25 poll. (GoHeels.com)
