Clowney, Gamecocks to test Tar Heels right away

North Carolina offensive coordinator Blake Anderson said there are plenty of strategies for containing South Carolina defensive end Jadeveon Clowney when the Tar Heels face the Gamecocks on Thursday (6 p.m., ESPN). Teams constantly can change who blocks him and how he’s blocked. Double-team him with a tight end or running back. Move the pocket, etc.
