Two ECU receivers ruled ineligible for 2013 season
Posted Aug 21, 2013
The East Carolina receiving corps took a hit Wednesday when the school announced senior Justin Jones and sophomore Jabril Soloman have been declared ineligible for the 2013 season. The university did not specify why the players were ruled ineligible, simply noting that they did not meet expectations set forth by the program. Jones completes his career with 52 catches for 598 yards and 12 touchdowns in 32 games. He started five of 13 contests as a junior. Soloman, who experienced action in 12 games as a true freshman a year ago, led the Pirates with a 24.1 yards-per-catch average.
