Quinton Coples' adjustment to outside linebacker could pay huge dividends for Jets

So far, Quinton Coples has mixed success with failure, but has impressed Jets coaches with his steady progress. Rex Ryan, the Jets head coach, said after watching film of Saturday’s intrasquad scrimmage that Coples looked "tremendous." If he is able to master his new role, it isn’t difficult to envision Coples as the Jets’ most dynamic defensive player this season.
