B.J. Phillips Switching Gears

Redshirt freshman B.J. Phillips entered fall training camp throwing passes to wide receivers and H-backs in North Carolina’s offensive system. The Columbia, S.C. native has recently been on the receiving end of those passes, following a move to tight end earlier this week. “Things weren’t working out the way I’d like at quarterback, and I wanted to help the team in some way, so I moved to tight end,” Phillips said.
