Rafael Palmeiro's Son, Preston, Commits To Play Baseball At NC State
Posted Jul 28, 2013
Preston Palmeiro, a corner infielder and outfielder from Texas, committed to play for NC State Sunday and there's definitely no questioning the bloodlines. His old man, if you're unfamiliar, had a lengthy career in the majors and accomplished the rare feat of reaching both the 3,000 hit and 500 home run milestones. Willie Mays, Hank Aaron, and Eddie Murray are the only other players to do that. (There was also this, unfortunately.)
