Jamie Dixon insists Pitt not lost after losing Steven Adams
Posted Jul 26, 2013
When Adams announced his intent to enter the 2013 NBA Draft, however, Dixon insists he was not caught by surprise. “I knew he would go,” Dixon told Sporting News. “He kept growing until he got to 7-foot. When he committed to us, he was 6-8. We’re not going to hold the guy back. The draft with big guys, especially, you’re getting drafted based on potential. We weren’t going to try to hold him up.”
