Trimane Goddard ready to help UNC take bite out of new season

With his feet fine now, Trimane Goddard hopes to help a defense that needed help. Last season's Tar Heels ranked 11th among 12 ACC teams in points allowed per game (30.5) and in yards surrendered (368.2). One man can't reverse that trend, but coordinator and defensive backs coach Chuck Pagano says Goddard already is making a "huge" impact. (Raleigh News & Observer)
