Matt Harvey to start All-Star Game for NL

Mets phenom Matt Harvey will start the All-Star Game for the National League at Citi Field, Giants manager Bruce Bochy announced Monday at a press conference. The 24-year-old fireballer earned the job amid a crowded field of possible starters, with pitchers such as Clayton Kershaw of the Dodgers and Patrick Corbin of the Diamondbacks also putting up starting-caliber statistics.
