'Dream come true' for Kendric Williams

Kendric Williams was so stunned at the time that he can't recall exactly what Butch Davis said. But he got the gist of the message when North Carolina's football coach announced in a team meeting on the first day of training camp that Williams would be placed on scholarship. "It almost brought a tear to my eye," said Williams, a 5-11, 195-pound cornerback who is entering his fourth season in UNC's program.
