James Gandolfini did all he could to support Rutgers football

When James Gandolfini passed away Wednesday in Italy, Teel couldn’t help but recall his most personal interaction with the famous Jersey guy. Gandolfini may be most remembered for his iconic portrayal of mobster Tony Soprano, but around the Rutgers campus, he will forever be honored for his loyalty to the football team. Greg Schiano made Rutgers a hot ticket; Gandolfini made Rutgers cool to root for. (NorthJersey.com)
