Just when you think the baseball teams from UNC and NC State are practically attached because of their monumental showdowns, consider this: The teams won’t meet during the ACC regular season in 2014. A scheduling rotation — that soon will be obsolete — means the rivals who’ll face off in today’s College World Series won’t have a conference series next year. (Burlington Times News)
