Howard's Rock vandalized
Posted Jun 12, 2013
Clemson's iconic Howard's Rock was vandalized earlier this month and police are investigating, the school announced Wednesday night. According to the school's news release, a small portion of The Rock was broken off of its pedestal after vandals broke the casing that protects the artifact. There was no damage to the pedestal that supports the rock. As is tradition, Clemson players rub The Rock before running down the hill during the football team’s entrance into Memorial Stadium for each home game.
