With revived relievers, Tar Heels stay positive for decisive game


North Carolina’s Landon Lassiter pointed out that Sunday’s 8-0 loss against South Carolina could end up being “the best thing to happen to” the Tar Heels. Lassiter’s optimistic reasoning was that it puts North Carolina into a backs-against-the-corner situation — one that has proved favorable and almost comfortable in the past couple weeks for a team that hasn’t lost back-to-back games this season.
