Tar Heels fall 8-0 to Gamecocks

UNC suffered an 8-0 loss against South Carolina in the second game of their Super Regional on Sunday at Boshamer Stadium. The teams will play again on Monday in the third and final game of a series that will send the winner to the College World Series in Omaha, Neb. For the second consecutive day, UNC’s starting pitching failed the Tar Heels. (Charlotte Observer)
